Bolt, the global mobility and delivery platform, has partnered with UK-based people and culture consultancy Powered by Humans to define and embed a new set of operating principles across its global workforce. The initiative is a strategic effort to enhance the company’s employee experience as it continues to expand internationally.
The collaboration, led by Bolt’s new Global Director of Talent Management, Sarah Kenuel, began with a comprehensive analysis of employee feedback through surveys and workshops. The insights gathered will inform a new set of principles designed to be both authentic and forward-looking.
“Bolt’s growth strategy relies on building a culture that empowers colleagues and unites them behind shared values,” said Sarah Kenuel. “The work with Powered by Humans will ensure our principles are not only authentic but future-focused.”
The next phase of the project will involve launching the principles and integrating them into every stage of the employee experience, from recruitment and onboarding to career progression. This approach aims to make the principles a “living framework” that guides the company’s growth.
Lee Ashton, Executive Client Director at Powered by Humans, added that the project is about more than “words on a wall; it’s about creating a living framework that supports colleagues as Bolt evolves, ensuring people remain at the heart of the company’s success.”
This partnership provides a valuable case study for other scaling businesses on how to proactively define and embed a strong company culture. It shows that a deliberate and human-centred approach to operating principles is essential for sustained growth and success.
